About Me

I am grateful for the opportunity to be married to my wife, Penny. Also grateful to have 3 children; Evan, Adeline, and Malina.

To top it all off, I get to share my life with High school & College age students at Cool Spring Baptist Church in Mechanicsville, Virginia.

I have lots of questions about following Jesus, the church, life, and Chicago Cubs baseball…yes they are all connected somehow and they are all good!!

So look around, leave a comment, and follow along. Most of all, thanks for even clicking on this link, it is way under-clicked.

  1. Hey Brian, been reading some of your tweets, when did tweets become a word? Anyway just wanted to tell you how I enjoy reading your stuff. You still have that great sense of humor, and a God given talent for the written word. Miss you:(

    1. Hey Betty,

Great to hear from you, and thank you very much for reading along! Hope you had a great Easter with the family. We are making arrangements to be back to visit sometime this summer — I do love Bourbonnais in the summertime :)

  2. As a current student of the medical profession, I have taken it upon myself to inform people that melena is the term for dark blood in the stool. It is a heavy burden I bear, and I realize that it may not be received well. I am sorry.

  3. I enjoyed reading your blog. I’ll come back later to read more because, my internet is quite slow right now and I’m not able to ‘Like’ your posts.

  4. I’ve nominated you for the Liebster Award. Just wanted to let you know that I’ve been trolliping through your blogs, and I’ve very much enjoyed what I’ve read thus far. Feel free to play along with this little award bit, or ignore it as chain garbage. It’s not a bad way to get new eyes on your blog. Either way, you can rest easy knowing that you have at least one little fan. :D

Check the link of my blog for info on the Liebster Award below:
